Dr. Paul G. Young has worked as a teacher and administrator in schools in Ohio for more than 35 years. Originally a high school band director, Young also taught 4th and 5th grades and served as an elementary school principal for nearly 20 years before retiring from work in the public schools. He served as the President of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) in 2002-2003. He played a lead role in the development of collaborations between NAESP and NAA and the development of the workshop entitled Aligning the Learning Day which has been presented in numerous states for both principal and after school audiences.
